Highlights: PSP designed, provided, and installed new storage buildings at six (6) individual ACPs for the future installation of server equipment, complete with power, fiber optic cable connectivity, masonry finish, HVAC systems, and temperature-dependent emergency alarms. Additionally, PSP provided an overall reconfiguration of the Shop Road ACP location to better facilitate traffic control, ID check point, and vehicle inspection procedures. This work included a new underground vehicle inspection system to enhance the guard force’s ability to search the underside of vehicles, a new drop arm to monitor and control traffic, a new roadway expansion to accommodate large vehicle approach, a new guard booth, and the relocation of an existing guard building to better accommodate security functionality.
Scope of work: Conduct a site investigation/ site survey of existing conditions at six (6) gates and provide a detailed report to include a concept design. Develop and deliver 65%, 95%, and Final Work Plans to include complete project drawings, specifications, product data, site plans, and other data. Deliver the Issued for Construction drawings and specifications. Form and place a concrete foundation for each building. Furnish and install equipment buildings at each ACP, and provide and install all conduit, fiber optic cable connectivity, masonry finish, HVAC and high temperature alarms, and expanded power infrastructure for each building. Perform road widening installation of new subbase, asphalt paving, and pavement marking at Shop Road ACP. Provide and install a new Gatekeeper AUVIS and associated software station. Provide and install automated traffic control arm on approach to AUVIS to index traffic across the system. Provide and install a new Guard Booth under the existing canopy as an auxiliary inspection facility. Relocate existing Gatehouse building to a new position off the inbound roadway to better facilitate security monitoring and functionality, including electrical power infrastructure and communications connectivity. Demolish and remove two vacant wooden structures and their associated concrete foundation pads. Perform acceptance testing, operations and maintenance training for end-user personnel, and deliver as-built drawings.
